This STEAM project is broken up into two parts:
BUILDING BACKGROUND
Your kiddos will begin by doing a research project of the history, current uses, benefits, and future innovcations of 3D printing. Graphic organizers are provided to assist students with their research, as well as a scoring rubric to assess students’ final products.
3D PRINTING CHALLENGE
Next, kiddos will explore Tinkercad as they complete a series of modules to learn all the mechanics and tools needed to build 3D images. A scoring rubric and checklist are provided to help students stay on track and for you to monitor their learning.
