Description
Attached is a three-day introduction to embedding quotes. This resource begins by explaining how to select effective quotes for analyzing, and then the steps to plan. Next, it shares important quote tips and the four ways to introduce a quote. Day 1 ends with using the "quote sandwich method", so students can visually see how embedded quotes should look. Day 2 is a practice of the 4 ways to introduce quotes. The final day differentiates between quoting, paraphrasing, and summarizing. With examples and practice throughout, this is an awesome resource to use as an introduction. The guided notes/practice are labeled as free on my storefront for you to download.
