Description
Such a fun and eye-opening assignment for your students to do to learn about a new culture!
Description:
What better way to teach about culture than to assign students a project that will immerse them in the student of culture? For this project, I make a list of over 80-100 countries around the world and I put them in a container. Students are to pick one, research everything there is to know about their country, and fill out this document. It asks for them to find information about everything cultural from food, clothing, norms, religion, to folkways and transportation. What they like most is that after the information is collected, they must create a collage using pictures they find online about the country. When they are completed, the paper can be folded in half and it becomes travel brochures!
Here's what you'll get.
This particular product is a PDF file that is designed to look like a mini pamphlet book. Students are asked to fill out about the assigned country/culture by doing ample research online. Students will present notes on the government, economy, norms, education, recreation, sports, and many more categories.
I have listed for free Cultural Country Destination Project Culture List. This is a printable of the countries I use with my kids- I simply print out, cut, fold and place itin a bowl and students pick one out to do their research on.
