Interoception Cards - Calm and Active BUNDLE!

Interoception is a little known, but very important, sense! This sense helps us to understand the signals our body is giving us, and what they mean. People who struggle with the sense of interoception can have difficulties knowing when they are too hot or cold, when they are hungry or thirsty, or when they are having an emotional reaction.

These 'Active' and 'Calm' Interoception Activity cards are simple, quick tasks to use with individual students, small groups or a whole class to build interoception and assist in greater engagement, regulation and wellbeing. They do not require prep and can be completed in the classroom or outside! These activities will get the students up and moving!

Optimal schedules for interoception building activities are twice daily, repeating the activity twice, and having a conversation from the prompt on the task card.

The cards are split into categories with cute characters identifying the body part(s) targeted!
