Description
This is an interactive e-story for the theme of community workers or helpers.it is suitable for pre-kindergarten to grade one. It is presented as a PowerPoint interactive which makes it visible and engaging to all students.
How it works?
Each slide allows the student to use clues to guess the community workers before moving to the next slide. Hence, allowing the child to think whilst listening to the story (problem-solving). It also has basic words to read, with a repeated rhythm of beginning sounds and common sight words. As well as a variety of saying verbs to increase vocabulary.
The last slide has 10 suggested teaching strategies that a teacher can implement, before, during, or after the story.
