Description

Get your students engaged with reviewing 2nd grade math skills with this a fall themed digital escape room. In this resource, the math standards covered include addition and subtraction fact fluency to 20, comparing using place value (comparing numbers in different forms), addition to 200 and addition word problems. Perfect for an easy activity before students head out on their on fall/Thanksgiving break, this escape room is interactive, engaging and reviews important 2nd grade standards.

This resource was created with Google Slides. Students will need access to Google Slides to play.

In this quest, students will complete math tasks to bake an apple pie! They move through a world where solving math problems will advance them on their day of baking! Students will receive immediate feedback and are prompted to fix their answer if they answer incorrectly. This is a low prep resource that can be used as a whole class game or independently by students.

Note: this is a great resource to use before Thanksgiving/fall break with students, even with students who may not celebrate the holiday. The word Thanksgiving is not in the resource intentionally.

  • Distance Learning: Assigning this resource to be used remotely has never been easier! If students have access to their Google accounts at home, they can use this resource with the family or as extra practice at home.
  • Virtual Centers: through Google Slides™ or assigned on Google Classroom™, students will LOVE having an interactive and engaging fall/Thanksgiving math center to use to practice their math skills.
