How do these worksheets help children practice conventional letter formations?

Go-Dots provide intermittent cues to support children in using correct letter formations that start at the top, go the correct direction, and use single strokes. This type of single stroke formation is consistent with both contemporary Zaner Bloser-style and Handwriting Without Tears-style instruction. Academic research has shown that automaticity of handwriting is critical for written communication, at all ages. This will help children who have poorly formed letters including those who are using balls and sticks develop more efficient motor habits.
