Instruments and Their Families Interactive Flipchart

This resource is made to help students recognize different instruments and their sounds. Each instrument is clickable and will play their sound to help students associate the sound with the instrument. There are slides that correspond with each instrument family and include a sample of instruments that belong to each family.

After a brief overview of each family and the instruments that belong to them, enjoy a sorting activity to help assess student knowledge. There is also a dragging activity where the students will listen to a clip of sound and will then match the sound to the instrument.

The instruments included are orchestral instruments; however, I will add another resource for classroom instruments if you would like! :)
