TED TALKS are great to use in the classroom to inspire, engage, and motivate students. This talk on "Everyday Leadership" is an excellent one to show students how they can become leaders in their own communities. This lesson includes the Inspirational Ted Talk and a Cornell Notes Graphic Organizer. A great filler lesson, sub plan, or even a unit like Ted Talk Tuesday! My AVID students loved the short video, easy practice with Cornell notes, and follow up questions & discussions. This lesson can be used in ANY middle or high school classroom setting: AVID, Language Arts, Leadership, etc.
