Description
This is an assignment I created for my Child Development students. The movie Inside Out has many amazing Social-Emotional themes within it.
As a class, we watch the movie together. Students use the video notes sheet to take note of their thoughts and observations as we watch.
After the movie, we break into groups, and do the Poster Walk assignment. In this assignment, groups make posters with questions about the movie and post them around the classroom. Groups walk around to each poster and add their ideas to the posters. We review all of the posters at the end of class.
Lastly, students write an essay response to the social-emotional themes of the movie.
