Inside Nature's Giants - Great White Shark Movie Guide

This is a worksheet I created to use with my high school Zoology students. "Inside Nature's Giants" is a video series where several different scientists dissect very large animals. Other animals in the video series include: giant squid, monster python, sperm whale, camel, and lion vs tiger. My zoology class does a dogfish shark dissection, so I like to have them watch this dissection video first to get an idea of what is inside the shark's body, but to also focus on special adaptations of a shark body.

If you do not dissect sharks, you might have students watch the video and then use their notes to take a shark quiz, or have them write an essay discussing shark anatomy and adaptations, or even comparing how a shark's body is different than a human's body. (These are just ideas, and there are no curriculum guides for those activities).

The worksheet has 42 questions that go in order for students to answer as they watch the video.
