Insects (PreK, Kdg, 1st, 2nd) (Distance Learning)

From home or school, Insects is the perfect combination of science, language, and literacy in this thorough No Prep packet about insects. The focus of this unit is on original informational text designed for listening and/or reading comprehension, science, and language arts. It is designed to simplify your preschoolers, TK, kindergarten, first and 2nd grade kiddos’ understanding and knowledge of insects from home or school.

The packet includes eleven original informational text pages. Two to eight student response pages follow each text.

Each page is accented with colorful clipart and photos to support comprehension and to enhance learning. The response pages were developed to accommodate differing skill levels among students so that all students can participate in this unit. TIP: Print an extra copy of the text pages, laminate, secure with a binder ring, and place in your classroom or home library for reading access all year long!
