What educators are saying

This was a great resource for my students who needed more support to organize their writing. Thank you for an excellent, ready-to-go resource!
This was a great resource to use with my students. Everyone was engaged and it saved me a lot of planning time. Thank you!

Description

This editable Google Doc™ graphic organizer/outline provides explanations for each sentence of an informative essay. Explanations for each sentence are given in the left-hand column and the right-hand column is blank for students to type in. The organizer has a total of five paragraphs. Each of the three body paragraph contains five sentences. This resource can be used with any informative prompt.

This organizer has been a great way to get students who struggle to familiarize themselves with the writing process. I post the outline in my Google Classroom™. I can then make comments on the students' writing while they are working without having to answer the same questions about what each paragraph needs twenty times. This is a great resource for distance and remote learning.
