Informational Report Writing Unit - Middle School Essay Writing
Description
This Middle School Report Writing mini-unit has graphic organizers, lesson slides and rubrics for an easy no-prep printable unit, printable or in Google Slides. This is a great back-to-school introduction writing activity for reports. Students will read an example report and determine the parts of an essay. Students will analyze the report and how it is written to help write their own informational research report. Research is provided for three different companies: Apple, Nike and Disney, to help guide students in writing their first report.
If your students have written research reports before, you can use the organizers and have them pick their own topics. A rubric is provided for evaluating any written report.
