Description
I often have to evaluate students who don’t do well with standardized tests. I wanted to create a tool that I could use to get some data regarding the language skills of students who are not able to demonstrate their skills in a normal testing situation. This tool is informal; therefore, it is NOT standardized. You must use your clinical judgment to decide if the student can or cannot demonstrate each skill. The amount of time it takes to administer this will depend on the student. You may wish to administer some or all of the tasks.

Jessica said, "I love using this resource when I complete assessments, especially when I'm evaluating my SDC students. I find it gives me a broader understanding of the students' overall strengths and weaknesses. During annual IEP time, I use it to update goals areas! Thank you for this resource!"
Deyanah said, "I really am so glad I found this resource. Testing my more severe kiddos can be challenging especially as this population is new to me and this resource is such a helpful guide. I also like that it has questionnaires for referrals and teachers."
