Inferencing and Drawing Conclusions Task Cards
- PDF
Description
Great for back to school! Fun and engaging activity! Inferencing and drawing conclusions are hard for many students, but they are essential for comprehension and critical thinking. These open-ended task cards will provide many opportunities for them to develop their inferential thinking skills. I love to use these in collaborative whole group conversations. Students read the card, tell the group what they infer, and then justify their answer. They are also perfect for small groups, library centers, guided reading, literacy centers, Scoot, test prep, early finishers, and more.
Traditional use: Print on cardstock, cut apart, and laminate to use in centers or Scoot. Put them on a ring to use with early finishers or independent practice.
Paperless options for a digital classroom: Share the PDF with your students in Google Classroom, Dropbox, SeeSaw, ClassKick, AirDrop, and more. Create a quick Google form for students to submit answers to you.
