Description

Inference Activities - Making Inferences in Text Messages Reading Assignments is a creative bundle of activities designed to help your students improve their inferential thinking. Students will read six text message conversations that require students to use their inference skills to understand. Students will examine details from the text messages to make inferences about the speakers, their traits, their relationship to each other, their location, and what they are discussing!

Prompting questions are provided to help guide students' inferences. Students must infer information from the texts based on their background knowledge and demonstrate what evidence led them to make that inference. The resource also includes blank options for students to create their own text message conversations!
