Indoor Scavenger Hunt - Perfect for Brain Breaks & P.E. Distance Learning @ Home
Description
This easy Indoor Scavenger Hunt activity is a
“fun and exciting” way to get kids up and
moving. This is perfect for an at home distance
learning activity. It is designed
for use with a wide range of ages for students
in grades Kindergarten through 6th.
The indoor scavenger hunt includes 10 “finds” or
“hunts” per page and uses typical household items
like a pillow, spoon, stuffed animal, towel, piece of
paper or a book. After students “find” an item they
must complete an exercise or task before finding the next item.
This activity was created to meet the SHAPE National PE Standards and will reinforce many of the concepts that a typical PE teacher would use throughout the school year. Use this activity to help your students reinforce key concepts and encourage full body movement.
Included are 4 different easy to follow versions for students to complete at home independently or with their family. This Indoor Scavenger Hunt is great for an e learning /distance learning assignment or to include in your family involvement packets throughout the year.
If you are looking for something different, high energy, organized and fun then off you go - Ready, Set, Happy Hunting!
