Consistent school attendance is extremely important for student success. This download includes fun and engaging activities to help stress the importance of school attendance. All activities come in color & black and white versions.

The School Attendance Challenge Brochure:

Directions for assembly:

Print double sided and fold on dotted lines.

Each student is given their own brochure to color and personalize. The brochure includes 4 reasons why it’s cool to be at school. The School Attendance Challenge is for students to complete activities in all 16 squares of Bingo. Once all 16 activities are completed, students return the brochure to receive a small prize or treat.

“I’m Working Towards…” Token Board:

Boy and girl versions included.

Individual students struggling with consistent attendance are given their own token board. They set a specific attendance goal (example: 5 days in a row with perfect attendance) and select something they wish to work towards. Every day they attend school, they place a star on their token board. At the end of the week they get to complete the activity they selected. Includes 36 different activities.

Helps or Hurts Attendance Card Sort Activity:

Download includes full color, pop of color, and black and white versions. 20 positive scenarios, 16 negative scenarios. Cut and Glue Helps Attendance and Hurts Attendance labels on their own paper sack. Print scenario cards double sided to Helps or Hurts Attendance sheets

Mix all cards together and lay face down. Students take turns picking a card and reading the statement. If the statement is something that helps attendance, student places card into that sack. If statement is something that hurts attendance, student places card into that sack.

Calming Strategies:

Cut and laminate for best results.

Place Calming Strategies together and use key ring to connect.

Includes 16 calming strategies students can do when feeling overwhelmed.

Attendance Certificate:

Students are given a special certificate after they accomplish their attendance goal.
