Description

This is an independent assignment for students. They read about 8 different methods of protest against a mother country's government and then rank and analyze them based on which method colonists should use first, second, third, etc. Finally, they research two protest movements against colonial empires and explain which methods these movements used and how successful they were. This can inspire a lot of discussion and debate, so it can be the fodder for several days worth of lessons. It is formatted for google classroom.
