Immune System Tag Game

Students explore and experience through a kinesthetic activity how the immune system defends the body from invading pathogens like viruses and bacteria. They also learn the individual roles of the major types of white blood cells, medications, and immune responses (innate). Includes rules, set-up, sign-up slide that can be projected and filled-in on whiteboard, 4 pre-lab questions for students to answer as a comprehension check before they go out to play, and 4 post-lab reflection questions to check mastery of knowledge about the immune cell roles when play is complete. Presentation contains some general Spanish instructions for ELL students to follow along.
