Description

Through this unit, students will learn that archaeologists, like detectives, work to piece together the past through investigation in the text, “If Stones Could Speak” by Marc Aronson. This common core aligned packet emphasizes specific skills that are targeted in each chapter. Through this packet, students are exposed to diverse perspectives and challenge them to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions about history. Students will learn to analyze how claims support the main idea and how to take Cornell Notes as they embark on this journey.
