If I Were President - An Election, Presidents Day, or Inauguration Activity

Simply, fun activity to do paired with an Presidential election year or Presidents' Day or even Inauguration Day! freeunderthesea

After reading some books on the election process, voting, what a President's job is, etc., have students imagine what they would do if they were President.

Students decorate the cover with their official portrait or imagine of them being President. The other two page require students to think, draw, and write about what traits a President must have, as well as what they would change or work on if President. Use all the pages or just the ones you want!

**This idea came from a coworker who saw a similar item for free through a blog. We adapted it (simplified it!) to meet our students' needs.**
