Identifying Hook, Bridge, and Thesis Statement in Introduction Paragraphs

This resource contains four examples of introduction paragraphs that could be used for an essay about the pros and cons of technology. Each paragraph follows the format of hook, bridge, thesis. Students will highlight the hook in yellow, the bridge in green, and the thesis statement in pink. Definitions of each term are at the top of page.
