What educators are saying

I loved this activity because my students really like a drag and drop with visuals supported with information. I like the small picture of protein synthesis to the bigger picture of protein synthesis. A great review tool for EOC's too! Thank you!
This was a great resource for my freshmen biology classes while we learned about the relationship between genes, DNA, chromosomes, and the cell!

Description

This Slides activity challenges students to label and identify DNA, genes, chromosomes, etc. The post actually contains THREE assignments all-in-one.

Each of the three slides has a different set of organisms. Slide #1 is a drag-and-drop with 5 draggable options, and slide #2 contains clickable text boxes and a word bank, while slide #3 just includes clickable text boxes (without the word bank). Please feel free to use any of the assignments or pick and choose what best serves your students and standards. I also included two slides that you can use to make any edits or changes, along with the answer key.

This is fully editable and can also be used as a handout or as an opening/closing activity. You can also add/delete images, change colors, etc. This activity can also be used on interactive whiteboards (SmartBoards, Promethean, etc.) or assigned to students in 1:1 settings. Simply copy/paste the slide you'd like to assign into a new slide deck, and then assign/share it with your students through Google Classroom or other platforms! Ready to go! For this reason, this is a perfect assignment for Remote Learning, eLearning, or distance learning.
