Description

Making ice cream in a bag is an easy and fun activity anytime of the year! This adapted book with a visual recipe and sequencing cards introduces ice cream recipe vocabulary using very simple steps to make home made ice cream in a bag. From milk, sugar, and vanilla to measure, pour, and shake students will have made ice cream in a bag in no time.

Adapted books and visual recipes are an engaging way to grab the attention of even your most reluctant readers. Interactive adapted books are perfect for emergent readers, English language learners, and students with autism and other special education needs.

Adapted books are a great addition to your literacy centers, and guided, shared, or independent reading activities. Sight word practice and generalization of sight words to the sentence level is a key component of my interactive adapted books.
