Description
This fully editable resource has been designed in line with the Australian Year 7-8 Civics and Citizenship Curriculum.
Students move through four stations in which they learn about the separation of powers (legislature, executive, judiciary) and changing the Constitution via a referendum. It is has been designed as an introductory task. Each station includes an information card which provides students with background knowledge of the area of study and a related activity. It also includes an exit ticket task.
Each station should take between 10-20 minutes depending of the level of your students. The total lesson should take between 1.5-2 hours.
Please note that some stations require the use of laptops.
