    GAMES (see below)

The PREVIEW includes the CONTENTS page which shows how the program is organised.

The Bonus Game targets word problems (addition or subtraction) and is differentiated. See the PREVIEW.

Not every page is meant to be completed. There is variety for those students who need more practice but once the skill is understood, it's time to move to consolidation activities which are usually games but could also be Task Cards.

I have used vertical setting out for addition and subtraction as my intervention focuses on place value with MAB and a Place Value Mat if other strategies have not been successful.

The ANSWER BOOK is included and gives extra suggestions for concept development, consolidation and generalising. I have recommended games when they are relevant because I know they work. I use them all the time in my intervention sessions and they provide the repetition that some students need. I send them home for family fun time but you could also put them in a Maths Centre. The trick is to match the game to the skill deficit so your students progress. All the links are given in the program to help you do just that. I have included a bundle of games targeting skills at this level.

This bundle is ideal for a school intervention program with the range of 19 games that are included.
