INTEGRALS: CRASH COURSE PHYSICS # 2
- PDF
Description
BS media generates very nice and engaging videos about Physics and other subjects. In this episode and others, Dr. Shini Somara will help you find your place in the world -- literally! -- with physics. This course is based on introductory college-level material and the 2016 AP Physics I and II curriculum.
Over some time, I have realized that my students liked them and are not more than 12 min, always falls in the boundaries of "attention span". I wanted to have my students watch it and make this viewing more meaningful with a comprehension sheet. This video is about "Calculus-Based Physics and Integrals". During these virtual/distant school times, Video Guides can be helpful. I use them in my online sessions as assignments to review.
This is a video response sheet and you can take it as a quiz as well. It is not a formative assessment rather a follow-up for the teacher what students had takeaways from the video. Questions are mostly 'fill-in-the-blanks' and short answer type. I have not put marks or points that you can assign yourself. I will put a .pdf file and if you want, I can send a shareable link for docx extension. Please let me know if I can help further.

Continuing with last week's introduction of calculus, Shini leads us through the ways that integrals can help us figure out things like distance when we have several other key bits of information. Say, for instance, you wanted to know how far your window was off the ground. By using integrals, a tennis ball, and a stop watch, you can figure that out! It's all here in this episode of Crash Course Physics!
