Description

This activity provides students with various 'case studies' of children that will either qualify for an IEP or 504 Plan. Students are not only asked to determine which plan the child is eligible for, but also begins to help students question what they can do in a classroom setting to accommodate this student knowing some basic information about their disability.

Directions:

This is made to be an individual activity where students complete each case study on their own, but alternatively can be completed in a jigsaw format. To do this, split students into groups of four, and assign each of the four students a case study to complete. Once they have finished, they can each share their thought process with their group.
