IB MAI Topic 4 Descriptive Statistics Digital Task Cards
- Zip
Description
These are 15 digital task cards that you can use as a quick review with your IB Math students. You can use them to review as soon as you’ve covered the descriptive statistics portion of the class, OR (my favorite) I use them as a review once we’ve moved on to another topic (like geometry and trigonometry) to make sure they haven’t forgotten the descriptive statistics portion of the class.
It covers various descriptive statistics concepts:
•Quantitative vs qualitative variables
•Discrete vs continuous quantitative variables
•Mean, median, mode
•Histograms, box-and-whisker plots, cumulative frequency curves
•Interquartile range, variance, standard deviation
•Outliers (lower and upper fences)
•Sampling techniques
ANSWERS are INCLUDED
Recording Answer Sheet is included so students can show their work (or you can have them use their GDC - graphic display calculator - to find the answers).
