Hygiene Help: The Truth About Stink Plan With Common Core Standards

After visiting my class on an especially hot day, my administrator asked me to create a hygiene presentation. Our building does not have air-conditioning and I was surprised to learn that many students were not aware of a basic hygiene routine. Besides the basics, this presentation covers information about diet, dental care, clean clothes and the myth that perfume or cologne cover stink. At the conclusion there is a "stinky situation" scenario, to give students strategies to kindly deal with a “stinky” classmate. A complete lesson plan in PDF form citing common core standards is included. This is a difficult topic to address, but this cute presentation greatly improved the scent of my classroom! This is a PowerPoint presentation and when converted to Google Slides, the animations and other features do NOT work.
