Human Physiology

Students are introduced to human anatomy and physiology, the different cells, tissues, organs and organ-systems of the body, their functions and how they work together.

Here is an overview regarding the course documents:

Practice exam (4): Practice exams review questions from previous years, or questions related to what might appear on a midterm, final, or other test.

Study guide (4): Study guides help students prep for upcoming midterms, finals, and other tests. They may include terms and definitions, formula sheets, and practice problems (with or without answers).

Lecture notes (15): Lecture notes review key ideas from class lectures. They’re used to review for an upcoming exam, or catch up, in the case of a missed class. They are labeled with the class date or lecture number.

Practice quiz (5): Practice quizzes are short assessments, given throughout the course that measure students’ understanding of course concepts.

Case Studies (5): Case studies are detailed real-world scenarios that allow students to think through solutions to open-ended questions or problems.

Lab Notes/assignments (10): Lab notes provide the necessary goals, instructions, terms, and solutions students need in order to prepare for an affiliated lab or exam. They are labeled with the class name, associated lab and date.
