My students loved this WebQuest! What an incredible resource! It was fun and engaging from beginning to end.
I needed an engaging (and self-explanatory) activity for my students to complete when I was out, and this assignment was perfect! Thank you.

Description

***I now offer this product as a digital product via Google Slides. See Human Body Systems Webquest Digital Project-Based Learning Activity.

Get your students excited about studying the human body and its systems! In this fillable PDF & printable webquest/project-based learning activity, students will meet Dr. Marvin Picklepeppertoot, a kindly doctor who wants to hire them as medical interns in his thriving medical practice. But before he can sign off on their working with him, your students must "interview" and correctly diagnose three of the doctor's young patients: Jamarius, Taylan, and Selena. To prepare themselves for the interviews, your students will conduct research on the human body and its systems by accessing provided websites and completing the attached packet of questions and activities. After completing one information page on each system, your students will find out if they have what it takes to be medical interns!

The following human body systems are included in this fillable PDF/printable webquest/project-based learning activity: NERVOUS, CIRCULATORY, RESPIRATORY, DIGESTIVE, SKELETAL, and MUSCULAR.

Please note: This webquest can be distributed to students in two ways--as a fillable PDF that they can type into or as a printed document. Links to websites are provided on each system page. If using the fillable PDF, students may click the links in the documents to be taken directly to the webpages. If using the printed documents, students may type the web addresses directly into their web browsers, or you may consider uploading the links to a class website or via Google Classroom for easy access.

***Two versions of the "Introduction" page are included: the first version references a female teacher, and the second version references a male teacher. Two versions of the "Extension Activities" page are included: the first version includes the option to complete a 3-d human body systems model project that is available for purchase on Tpt, and the second version does not.
