What educators are saying

We traced my son's body and printed out the organs and bones. Then he colored in the organs and he glued the organs and bones onto his traced body. He thought it was so fun that he got to put all of the body parts on his own body.
This was the best project to learn about the body. It provided us with so many topics of conversation. And we learned a lot about anatomy.

Description

This resource contains all major organs as well as the skeletal system to create a life size human body diagram! Simply trace the student on a large piece of butcher paper/kraft paper, print the organ and skeletal pieces, and you are ready to create a life size diagram, lift the flap layered human body diagram, or use the pieces like a large puzzle. All pieces are in color and black and white.

Ways to use this resource:

Moveable Pieces: When printed in color on card stock, pieces can be used to build a human body or different systems of the human body.

Life Size Flap Book: Print in color or b&w, cut out each piece, and make a small fold to glue along creating a ‘lift-the-flap’ feature. Have child lay down and trace them on butcher paper/ poster paper to create the body outline, then glue the organs and skeletal pieces to the body in layers to lift and see the different pieces.

Students can also color the b&w pieces, as well as write a short informational paragraph or sentence on the back of the piece to reveal when the reader lifts the flaps.
