Description

This instructional PowerPoint and practice sheet shows teachers and students alike how to discern when a line of poetry is written in iambic pentameter. This resource could be posted to a blog and used as independent work and practice while students work at home. Students learn how to clap out the rhythm. The PowerPoint also gives practice slides for them to practice the skill. This is a great introduction to Shakespearean poetry or Romeo and Juliet to help students understand his genius.
