How to Teach the Reading Workshop with a Basal

I have had many teachers ask me how they can use the reading workshop model when they are forced by their districts to teach with a basal reading series.

I have been in this same position as a third grade teacher for many years.

This has led me to create this free resource that offers just one way I have taught the reading workshop, while still teaching with the basal reading program my district has required me to use in the past.
