Bookworms Curriculum Supplement: Grade 1 ELA Module 4- Unit 1: Exploring Our World.

These slides are for Lessons 3 - 10 of Unit 1, Module 4. These lessons are equivalent to 8 days of writing lessons. Students will be making a "how to" book about making popcorn. This correlates with the book "The Popcorn Book" by Tomie dePaola.

This resource is editable through Google Slides. These slides include background knowledge, modeling slides, timers when appropriate, mentor book photos, teacher notes, work session assignments, "I can" statements, success criteria, and anchor chart guides. Please know that these were designed to be a supplement to the Bookworms Curriculum and the slides were created to help with planning and presentation to young students! Kid friendly version slides to keep students engaged during instruction.
