Description

Sequence the steps to follow for flying a kite using picture cards, sentence strips, and mini books. Students will practice language, writing, and reading comprehension skills by engaging with the short story that goes with the set of sequencing picture cards. This language rich resource can be paired with almost ANY kite or spring themed book including Stuck by Oliver Jeffers, Kite Day: A Bear and Mole Story by Will Hillenbrand, and Kite Flying by Grace Lin. The variety of versions of each story allows you to differentiate your lessons. Four digital slide activities are also included. The digital slides are compatible with PowerPoint and Google Slides™.
