Included in the lesson is:
Learning what a role mode is
What to look for when choosing a role model
Understanding that most human beings have difficulties to overcome and students
can learn how to be a better person by observing how their role model has
overcome difficulties.
Learning how we all make mistakes, even role models
A list of role models from today and in history that have made a difference
Group activity where students look for and "Tag a Role Model" on campus"-an award is written up and displayed in your room or in another part of the campus.
Inspirational poem on being a role model
Writing prompt:" Write about an individual who is a role model to you
Writing prompt: "How can you use the qualities of your role model in your own life?"
Writing prompt on what students have learned from observing their role models.
