Description

This How to Catch a Leprechaun unit is perfect for the weeks leading up to St. Patrick’s Day. It includes reading, writing, and STEM connections. Students begin by listening to the story How to Catch a Leprechaun. A read aloud link and question guide is included. Students review the story elements and complete a story map. Next, students learn about opinion writing and complete a writing prompt and leprechaun craft. Your students can have fun hiding their leprechauns around the school or classroom. Then, students will use their creativity to follow a simplified process to design their very own leprechaun trap.
