Description

You may be wondering what is the best way to answer inference questions?

In this video, I will work through example inference questions using a 4 step reading strategy.

Inference questions ask about something that is not directly stated in the passage. Most times these questions require understanding the big picture of the passage. Readers have to use clues from the passages and some of their own prior knowledge to come to a conclusion.

Helping your students break down a passage and look for clues can help them find more success on inference questions.
