What educators are saying

I work with students who struggle with reading and this resource provided the just right amount of rigor for them. Thank you.

Description

***UPDATED 10/20/13

In order to educate my students on why we celebrate and more importantly honor Veterans, I have created this 27-page writing prompt and Dog Tag craft. Not only did they write friendly letters to veterans, but they also learned about the history of military dog tags and why poppies are often symbolic of Veterans Day.

This project is aligned to the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade standards, but it can easily be adapted to higher or lower grades.

Thanks for taking a look! To see how I used it in my own classroom visit my blog here: http://www.dots-n-spots.com/?p=1430
