I wrote this lesson from a website called, Learning to Give, which provides philanthropy education resources that teach giving and civic engagement. After I took their ideas and made this lesson in my class to enhance the reading of the novel Shiloh, I received permission to offer it for free on TpT. It is very important to this group not to sell the ideas, but rather spread their lessons for free to any teacher who wants them; therefore, I am offering this as a free product and hope you will visit their site. They have a lot of wonderful and FREE lessons for teacher use.
