Description

Homophones - Memory Game: Use these homophone cards as a memory game or as a flip book. You can use only the cards that have the homophone pairs that you want your students have more practice with. For the memory game, cut out each card, then shuffle them for a random order. More instructions are included in the file.

It contains 50 homophone pairs. They are eight/ate, ball/bawl, bare/bear, blue/blew, flour/flower, hair/hare, knight/night, nose/knows, mail/male, won/one, pair/pear, sail/sale, sea/see, tow/toe, buy/by, rain/reign, doe/dough, row/roe, beat/beet, tail/tale, meet/meat, sweet/suite, seller/cellar, chili/chilly, break/brake, flu/flew, rose/rows, seen/scene, threw/through, son/sun, stair/stare, whale/wail, witch/which, pale/pail, road/rode, sore/soar, high/hi, weight/wait, right/write, weather/whether, scent/cent, rays/raise, manor/manner, peel/peal, waist/waste, kernel/colonel, pole/poll, paws/pause, dew/due, made/maid.

For the flip book, print each page, then bind them together along the tops. After this, cut each vertically along the center to divide the flip book in half so that your students can flip the pages on the left and right to match the pages.
