Description
Homophones can be difficult for language learners and three of the most commonly confused words are there, their, and they're. These self-grading task cards provide students with practice choosing the correct homophone (they're, their, there) for 24 different sentences. Students use the drop down menu in the colored box to choose the correct homophone to complete the sentence. Their answers are automatically populated and graded on the answers tab. If you want to make this a quiz, simply hide the answers tab and students will still see the grade tab, which tells them the total correct (though not which specific sentences are correct or incorrect) and their percentage. To use this activity make a copy for each student and give them editing rights. Be sure to explain how you want it returned to you.

This activity is also available in other formats: paper, Google Sheets.
