Description

Students create a cartoon that shows how a set point is maintained by negative feedback loops. Ideally, students use a familiar, non-biological example to clarify and simplify the scientific vocabulary and negative feedback process. The document provided contains the objective, a list of cartoon ideas, photos of student work examples, and a detailed rubric. The rubric provides students with specific project requirements while providing teachers a straightforward and objective grading tool. I assign this project in my Human A&P class each year and it is always a student favorite! Would be appropriate in any Biology course, including AP Biology.
