You'll read beloved children's books, and a few you've never heard of, play with numbers, explore science topics, and SO MUCH MORE! Each ThreeSchool activity can easily be adapted to preschoolers at multiple levels of learning and using whatever supplies you have available. If you have multiple children, you can tweak the activities so that everyone is learning together! Even today my 7 year old loves leading his 2 and 4 year old sisters in some of his favorite activities from this program!

Each day you'll start with Morning Meeting, spend some time freely playing in Learning Centers, have One-on-One time to practice specific skills, read carefully chosen books during Story Time, sing and dance during Music & Movement, and explore science and social studies concepts during Discovering my World.

What You'll Explore Each Month:

In September, you'll learn routines and procedures, discover what makes each child special, and explore your five senses. You'll focus on the letter M, the color yellow, and counting and identifying numerals.

In October, you'll learn all about communities, practice fire safety, explore spiders, and read about Halloween. You'll focus on the letters T & P, circles, the color purple, and counting and identifying numerals.

In November, you'll learn about the rainforest, reptiles and other animals, and the science of rain. You'll focus on the letters A & R, squares, the color green, and counting with 1:1 Correspondence and identifying numerals.

In December, you'll learn about winter and weather. You'll explore arctic animals and how they stay warm. You'll focus on letters S, D, & U, review shapes, and study the color white. You'll practice counting with one-to-one correspondence and identifying numerals.

In January, you'll learn about birds, and focus on letters B, N, and E, ovals and the color red, you'll learn and practice AB patterns and study penguins, owls, and bird life cycles.

In February, you'll explore different nursery rhymes and do unique STEM activities to go with them. You'll cover the water cycle, simple machines, and learn about bears. You'll learn about the letters H, V, and I, and well as hearts and the color pink. You'll practice sorting objects by one, two, and three qualities. You'll also practice sequencing nursery rhymes by putting events in the order they happened.

In March, you’ll cover ocean life, study ocean zones, and be introduced to density with sinking and floating activities. You'll be introduced to conservation and taking care of the environment. You’ll dip your toes into data collection and graphing. You’ll study the letters O, W, and F, the star shape, and the color blue.

In April, you’ll learn all about the desert and the animals that live there. You’ll measure with standard and non standard units. You’ll learn all about adaptations and how different animals use their adaptation for survival. You’ll learn what a habitat is, and study the color orange and the shape diamond. You’ll also work on following step-by-step directions

In May, you’ll focus on farm life. You’ll learn about the passage of time by covering days, months, and clocks. You’ll learn about the life cycles of plants and chickens, and spend time learning about gardening. You’ll spend a special week comparing and contrasting stories with the Little Red Hen. You’ll study the color brown, triangles, and seeds!

In June, the final month of ThreeSchool, you’ll go on a safari of learning. You’ll study food chains, animal tracks, learn about Africa, and what different animals eat when you study food chains, carnivores and herbivores. Letters Z, E, and Y will wrap up your study of the alphabet, and you’ll learn about the colors black and grey, and be introduced to the concept of fractions.
