Holidays Directed Drawing Worksheets and Writing Center- Kindergarten, 1st Grade

Teach your students how to draw Holiday Word pictures with these directed drawing templates. These drawings are the perfect addition to your elementary ELA lessons. This packet includes 59 directed drawings for Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas (10 pictures per holiday, except for St. Patrick's Day which has 9).

There are four options for each drawing.

1. Valentine’s Day: 10 pictures: strawberry, cupid, ring, heart box, chocolates, cupcake, flower 1, flower 2, letter, rose
2. Easter: 10 pictures: chick, carrot, chocolate bunny, church, cross, basket, Easter bunny, egg, lily, peep
3. St. Patrick’s Day: 9 pictures: boot, clover, gold coin, horseshoe, leprechaun, pot of gold, rainbow, shamrock, hat
4. Halloween: 10 pictures: cat, ghost, haunted house, jack-o-lantern, skull, spider, treat bag, witch’s boot, cauldron, witch’s hat
5. Thanksgiving: 10 pictures: turkey 1, turkey 2, cornucopia, Mayflower, Native American, pie, pilgrim, pilgrim hat, pumpkin, pumpkin pie
6. Christmas: 10 pictures: candy cane, light, bells, ornament, Santa Claus, Christmas tree, sleigh, stocking, poinsettia, wreath
