This scavenger hunt reading comprehension activity is designed to introduce students to Hispanic Heritage Month. Explore why and how Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated, and learn about 6 notable Hispanic American figures. The scavenger hunt features 10 short reading passages each covering a different topic related to Hispanic Heritage Month. Using an answer recording sheet, students must answer questions that require they hunt down the relevant passage to find the correct answer. Each correct answer has a clue word that leads students to a final set of letters to be unscrambled. The first student or team to unscramble the final mystery word wins!
